Description: Black and white footage of various locations in Scotland intercut with film of a man's hand drawing the route on a hand-drawn map (hand presumably belonging to the cameraman). The holiday commences with a boat trip from Largs around Arran with film of the pleasure boat Duchess of Fife. The film continues with shots of Rothesay Castle, a railway journey up the west coast of Scotland, brief view of Glasgow docks (?), Loch Lomond, a posed shot of an elderly couple looking out over the Loch (presumably the cameraman's parents), Mr Green senior resting under a sign for "Rest and be Thankfull (sic. thankful) Hill", Inveraray Castle, Oban, Fort Augustus, a road crew at work, Rannoch Muir, views around Loch Ness and Inverness, a brief shot from inside a motor car from the driver's seat looking out on a rain soaked road, Linlithgow, various shots of Edinburgh and modern holiday cottages somewhere in England 26 miles north of Newcastle. The film end with brief shots of Mr and Mrs Green arriving home (probably 40 Glenhouse Road, Eltham, South London).
