Description: Aerial and ground-based shots of the Short Belfast. Gordon Little, "one of Short's technical team", gives the background to the development of the aircraft. Shots of maintenance of the Rolls Royce Tyne engines and comparison of the Belfast with the Short Skyvan (next to each other on the tarmac). Tour of the aircraft, both exterior (engines, gas turbine, undercarriage) and interior (loading bay, still filled with test equipment). Denis Tayler, the test pilot, discusses the aircraft's handling and gives a brief tour of the flight deck area. In an office, Gordon Little uses models to show the various possible payloads and configurations (military and civil) which will be available.
