Summary: Promotional film showing a young American woman in London with her father.
Description: The two meet at Heathrow Airport and taxi into London to stay at the Britannia Hotel. They then tour London. Scenes on board «HMS Belfast» are followed by a visit to Rothmans of Pall Mall to buy cigars and cigarettes (close-ups of cigarette packets). Dining at Tiberio Restaurant. The next day, hung-over father stays in bed with a glass of Alka Seltzer, as the daughter goes sightseeing: Buckingham Palace, the Bank of England, Saint Paul's Cathedral, the Albert Memorial and Nelson's Column. Father and daughter meet for lunch in the Sherlock Holmes pub and drink "Whitbread Tankard". Visit to Jack Barclay (Rolls-Royce dealer) and the Christian Dior shop. Shots of statues (including Winston Churchill and Abraham Lincoln) before the daughter departs to visit her boyfriend in Paris. Final shot of airliner taking off at sunset.
