Description: The party arrives and views a full-sized maquette of the base of the hand (made of expanded polystyrene) standing in the yard. Also viewed are disassembled sections of the maquette for the hand, part of which is in the yard, the main sections (with fingertips in clenched fist, and a giant thumb) inside a workshop. Close-ups of the fingertips. Sculptor shaves part of a the full-scale maquette with a coarse brush.
