Summary: Work progresses on maquettes (full scale and part scale) for the "Hands of Victory" sculpture in the sculptor's workshop. (No sound.)
Description: Close-ups of fingertips. Wider shots of the workshop show two sculptors working on a smaller scale maquette of the full hand, also made of expanded polystyrene. The sculptors slice this maquette into sections using an electrically-heated wire. The individual slices are then laid on the floor and numbered for future reference. Small maquette of the hand holding the sword handle (actual size; presumably the original casting of Saddam's hand) is held in a crate carried by David Vallance and Philip Jackson. This crate is carried up a spiral staircase (several takes). It is taken into an office where it is opened; the two sections of the maquette (hand and replica of the base) are removed and fitted together, and the maquette is placed on a table. This shows the hand "bursting" out of the ground. The two men inspect the maquette.
