Street scene, a soldier (Ustasha?) carries two window frames, a horse and cart passes along the road. People sift through piles of rubble next to bomb craters. Devestation caused by the air raid. Damage to buildings. People on roofs surveying damage. Soldiers (Ustasha?) moving goods by horse and cart. Another man carries his belongings by foot.
Milena Vinski (Dr Ivo Vinskis first wife) sorts out clothes and belongings from her wardrobe to move out of town to the safety of a village. Suitcases lined up in front of a radiator. Mrs Vinski, dressed in a (fake) leopard skin coat, secures the fastenings on her luggage. The maid helps carry the cases to the car parked in the street. The car is loaded and they drive off. A brief, and very fast moving shot, of the street filmed from the passengers window of the moving car. A glimpse of some men loading logs onto a horse-drawn cart.
