Description: Interview with the chargehand, looking after the men and getting things "ship shape" and discussing the problems which have been encountered in the building of the tower. He describes the various "rings" or layers which the base will be constructed of.
View of the inside of the base "ring", as final adjustments are made. Further sections are bolted into place. Wide view of the test tent, showing the various sections of the base under construction. Shots outside the tent show other sections.
Interview with "John" of Henshaws. He describes the company's background and history, as well as the current specialist work of the firm. He talks about their role in the project "we will make the cladding of the arms, while [Morris] Singer will concentrate on the hands". He notes that the contract stipulates that the panels be bolted together and not welded. [Abrupt end.]
