Description: Reel 1:(Kodak stock - dev before June 1965) Brief shots of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission cemetery at El Alamein shows a grave marked "A Sailor of the 1939-1945 War. Royal Navy. Known unto God", and the Army version. A couple of (British) visitors wander among the graves, a few decorated with wreaths, the rows edged by bougainvillea.
Reel 2: (Kodak stock -dev before July 1965) Brief shots of the Sacrario Militare italiano di El Alamein [Italian shrine at El Alamein, completed in 1958], and the inscription "Consacrato al riposo di 4600 soldati e marinai d'Italia il deserto e il mare non restituiscono i 38000 che mancano" [Dedicated to the rest of the 4600 soldiers and sailors of Italy which the desert and the sea will not return, and the 38000 who are missing.]. Last half of reel is private holiday film of tourists at seaside restaurant and cruise along rocky coastline (Yugoslavia?).
