- Description: LS to ships steaming in line astern in calm early-morning sea - HMS London is in the van. Further LSs across the group which is steaming in three columns. Cut to aerial views of the task force - it is now broad daylight. Repeated circling and passes over the formation show HMS London leading the MCM command ship HMS Herald which is followed by the three minesweepers steaming in line abreast. Astern of the minesweepers are Gloucester, Brazen and Cardiff, followed by the RFA contingent - as there are four RFAs abreast, Sir Percivale steams out on the port wing of the group. Argus follows at the rear of the line. In the course of the aerial sequence reasonably close - albeit brief - views of all the ships are obtained. The minesweepers are covered in sections of Radar Absorbing Material.
