Summary: Coach lives with his family in Bugojno near the front line in Bosnia Hercegovina and writes to his relatives in Banja Luka on the other side of the confrontation line.
Description: Coach sits on his bed and plays his guitar. He is very glad to receive his first letter from his family in three years. He gives them news of relatives who have died. Shot of Coach peering out of the window. He explains that they heard a shell land nearby just minutes ago. He says that although his dauughter did go to school shelling has made it too dangerous to go more recently. Shot of his children playing with toys. He says that his son Orzen, who has physical disabilities, is good and can play and use his hands more. He says that his wive Bisa is also well. Shot of Bisa preparing food for the family. He says that he has been in prison because he was a member of HVO, the Croatian Defence Council and the experience was not something he would wish upon his worst enemy. The sound of a shell falling nearby. He says that being in prison made him feel like a complete nobody. He points out that his hair has gone grey since the last time they saw him. At the end of the letter he plays a mournful tune on his uncle's harmonica. He says that the song is for his family in the hope that they might see each other again soon.
