Description: From a windmill, it sails spinning in the wind, the cameraman observes military traffic and Dutch civilians travelling in both directions through the village of Mierlo; seen moving right to left are an infantry section on foot, two Bedford MW 15 cwt tracks and a Bedford MWC water truck; seen heading in the opposite direction are a Bedford QLT lorry in service as an ambulance and an Austin K5 lorry while two Bofors 40mm gun detachments from a 2nd Army LAA unit and their Bedford QLB tractors prepare to take up position around the windmill. From different positions on the ground, the cameraman studies the mill and its spinning sails with one of the Bofors in position next to it and with traffic - as seen here, a jeep, a Bedford OY lorry and a civilian cyclist - moving along the road nearby.
