Summary: Kole, a Macedonian resident of Sarajevo now back in Macedonia, writes to his sister who stayed in Sarajevo.
Description: Kole Jordanovski, former resident of Sarajevo, now living in Macedonia, sends a message to his daughter living in the Bosnian capital. From his rooftop balcony he reads out his letter. He says that they are living in peace here but he feels “guilty, depressed and impotent” because he cannot help his nearest and dearest. He is glad that he grew up in Sarajevo where he learnt to like people of all ethnicities and now, nationalist, backgrounds. He hopes that Sarajevo will be able to repair itself and he is sending his new book on the reconstruction of Skopje to give his daughter hope that it can be done. He would like her to be able to visit him in Macedonia and he appeals to both governments to make this possible.
