Summary: A DJ and rock critic in Belgrade tells his friend in Zagreb the latest news from the Belgrade rock scene.
Description: DJ Petar sits in a recording booth to give his message to his friend Dražen, in Zagreb. He says that the last time they saw each other was at a Ramones concert in Zagreb in November 1990. Since then, the rock scene has been relatively quiet but there were signs in 1994 of its regeneration. He mentions a new album by Đorđe Balašević, “One of Those Lives” and a couple of other new, exciting albums. Clips of music videos.
He says that he still writes for newspapers and a radio show called “The Third Yugoslavia Rock ‘n’ Rolling”. He says that Belgrade is awash with bootleg tracks so, despite economic sanctions, he is up to date on the Croatian and Slovenian scene. He reports the sad death of Milan Mladenović, who died on the 5th of November of pancreatic cancer, and mourns the end of his band Ekatarina Velika.
He says “I hope you can at least see my musical letter”.
