Summary: Maja, who fled Sarajevo for Belgrade at the start of the war, writes to her mother and friends who stayed behind.
Description: She says that she still thinks about all of those who chose to stay in Sarajevo and still loves them. She says that she is grateful to Sarajevo because it is where she spent the first 18 years of her life, however it is in the last couple of years that she has grown up and become an adult. She also says that she has made genuine friends in her amateur theatre group and she hopes that she will be an actress but that these things feel impossible to predict presently.
To her mother she sends her love and wishes that they could see one another again. To her old friends, she wishes only that they could be together again.
