Summary: Reactions from the man on the street and leading political figures to the Croatian decision not to renew UNPROFOR's mandate.
Description: In Belgrade, Yugoslav Foreign Minister, Vladislav Jordanović says that he is seriously worried about the attitude of Croatia towards UNPROFOR. He thinks that their decision will hinder and jeopardise the peace process. He says that peace must be preserved and should not be endangered by any one party. On the streets though, residents of Belgrade believe that Yugoslavia will have to respond, perhaps with an attack on Croatia to defend the Serbs. Zoran Dindić, of the Democratic Party said that a Croatian attack against the Serbs would demand a response. Milan Božić, of the Serbian Renewal Movement thought that Croatian aggression would lead to Yugoslavia entering this war.
