Interview with a teacher who explains that the town is only 500m from the confrontation line and that the houses of Tenja can be seen from second floor windows. She says that many of the children can see their homes and 'it is sad to see how much they long for their homes'. One man interviewed there says that it is too soon for peaceful integration. Interview with the Director for Centre of Peace, Non-Violence and Human Rights, who says that she is an optimist. She says that the situation can be viewed as an opportunity to integrate the whole population as well as the territory of Croatia.
Shots of a boat crossing a river. The Centre runs meetings in Mohács, in Hungary, aiming to bring together people from different sides. The co-ordinators describe how the atmosphere in the meetings slowly changes from one of hostility to mutual understanding. One says that it is a relief to realise that there are friends and enemies on both sides. People are able to share news of what has happened to people because everyone has family or friends on the other side. One says that 'people are buried and unburied so quickly' when people are told that a person they thought had died is still alive. The co-ordinators emphasise that it is the “blockade on information” that these meetings try to remove. At the end, one co-ordinator says that 'Croatia must realise that all people must live together'.
