Other titles:
Summary: Royal Horse Artillery horse show and a practice charge by 2nd Dragoons (Scots Greys), Western Front, early 1918.
Description: I. At the show an RHA troop demonstrates a fast gallop followed by a controlled trot. A jumping race for riders of one horse while leading another horse on a tight rein. Wrestling on horseback and a flat race. Among the spectators are members of the Chinese Labour Corps. II. A squadron of Scots Greys riding in light order with shrapnel helmets but no heavy equipment - a few of the horses are not grey, and none is stained for camouflage. They form up in a field and deliver a very slow close order charge towards the camera without drawing their swords. Possibly near Montreuil on 8 May. Later, the squadron passes a pond and farmhouse at the walk, and some of the horses, offsaddled, are watered in the pond.
