Summary: British troops practice defensive drills to be undertaken when their helicopter is downed in hostile rural territory. After some initial scenes of soldiers at a sandbagged machine gun post capering for the camera, a Puma helicopter flies to the range. Shots of the gun being oiled, and of the Hollow Field training area, Ballykinler. A cameraman takes still photographs (offscreen gunfire can be heard). Shot of a rainbow. The downed helicopter drill is then shown: helicopter crew get out and fire at the "enemy" (pop-up targets) in two successive positions, before retreating and escaping. The scenario is repeated twice more.
