Summary: Fragmented film of a tour of an Italian Carabinieri band around Britain, autumn 1918.
Description: A British military band escorts the Italians through the streets of Blackpool as civilians watch. In various scenes the Italians wear either undress uniforms with cloaks or their highly ornate full dress. They are taken by charabanc to a reception point where they talk with British bandsmen. They play to convalescent soldiers in London. In another town, possibly Liverpool, they march through the pouring rain and are inspected by the Lord Mayor. Again they are escorted by a British band. They discard their cloaks and give another performance. In Manchester (?), very foggy and damp, they are once more escorted by a British band and carry their national flag. The Lord Mayor and invalid soldiers watch them play. The Lord Mayor inspects them and presents medals, some going to civilians and small children. In Edinburgh a Highland pipe band leads the Italians down Princes Street, and they go sightseeing in the grounds of Holyrood Castle. They leave by train from Princes Street Station, waving at the camera.
