Summary: Army Recruiting film, following four newly commissioned artillery officers from their passing out parade at Sandhurst to further training at the Army's School of Artillery at Larkhill in Wiltshire, and then to their first postings, after being 'dined-in' to the artillery at a dinner held at the Royal Artillery mess at Woolwich. One man goes to 19th Field Regiment at Minden in West Germany as a section commander, before moving on to the Royal Horse Artillery. Another goes to 39th Regiment with nuclear-armed Honest John battlefield rockets, the third to Aldershot to train as a paratrooper, while the fourth trains in anti-aircraft artillery at Manorbier in Wales, eventually serving in a unit equipped with the Thunderbird surface-to-air missile.
