Summary:
Description: Filming from a Taylorcraft Auster belonging to 658 Army AOP Squadron, the cameraman surveys the battlefield around Brettevillette and Noyers in the Odon valley; fires created by divisional and corps artillery mark the position held by the 276th Infantry Division at present under attack by 59th (Staffordshire) Division. Sherman (tanks probably from the 33rd Armoured Brigade) are seen advancing across dry and dusty fields. Back on the ground, 17-pounder anti-tank guns belonging to the 68th Anti-Tank Regiment RA are seen being towed by CMP Quad tractors to the front where they will help consolidate 59th Division's gains against German armoured counter-attacks.
