Description: The unedited newsreel footage includes shots of a lorry crossing the bridge over the river Clwyd and entering the former prison. The film continues with shots of munitions workers walking along Clwyd Street to the "Main Entrance to the Security Works". Interior shots of women workers seated on benches; they are watched at work by Squadron Leader Nettleton, accompanied by Councillor J Howard Davies and John Morris-Jones MP. Women workers operate lathes. Close-up shot of a wooden cell door marked "Magazines, Washers and Detonators - Storage". A worker is shown handing a tray of detonators (?) to Miss Cherry Elder; view of the general office through the opened wooden cell door. Scenes in the auditorium of Ruthin's cinema in Well Street, where Squadron Leader Nettleton is presented with a fountain pen by one of the women munitions workers (this section with sound). The film ends with some "Censored Scenes" showing the exterior of the prison walls, the prison building and the river Clwyd.
