Description: The British raid on the German radio station at Bruneval is reported to have been a success with "only very light casualties." Film does not cover the raid itself, but shows the preparatory training which paratroops and soldiers underwent (firing from landing-craft, coming ashore, practice dropping), as well as men returning after the raid, transferring from a landing-craft to a larger vessel and bringing back captured Germans. Wing Commander Pickard of "F for Freddie" fame, who led the supporting force of bombers, comes out to sea to meet the returning heroes. "It is fellows like these who will one day seize the initiative from the Axis", announces the commentary.
