Equipment used in the beach recovery includes: Beach Armoured Recovery Vehicle (BARV) - Sherman Mk III with a no 19 RT set; waterproofed D8 tractor with a spade type earth anchor; Scammell 6x4 tractor towed by a truck called "King Kong"; Ward-le-France 6x6 tow truck; DAW Amphibian - a GMC two and a half ton 6x6 vehicle (the "duck"); jeeps. (Reel 2) L/S of actual operation supplemented with maps and arrows to show the development of an army infrastructure.
