Description: Five reels of stockshots of the Western Front, with no apparent theme or linking sequence. The majority of the material for all but the final reel comes from IWM 191 BATTLE OF THE SOMME. The majority of the material for the last reel comes from IWM 344 YPRES - THE SHELL-SHATTERED CITY OF FLANDERS [1918 version] with fragments and items from a number of other films. All the material is British official film.
