The plane is said to crash on take-off but no one is hurt. II. US gunners mechanically setting the fuses for their 75mm anti-aircraft guns using a Brocq Tachimeter. III. Lorry-mounted 75mm anti-aircraft guns of 'A' Battery, 2nd Field Artillery, Captain S B Richie commanding, near Fléville on 18th October. IV. The camp of 101st Infantry Regiment, 26th Division, near Samogneux on 19th October, showing 'D' Company mess. Private J H Todd shaves by his tent. Private Joseph Jacobucci play-acts with a German helmet. The field kitchens of 102nd Field Artillery nearby. 'B' Company, 101st Engineers, carrying rocks for road repairs, 6-inch howitzers of 103rd Field Artillery, both 26th Division. Colonel J A Mack, Captain J Simpkins and Captain L Clayton of 102nd Field Artillery at their command post. A dugout nearby holds Colonel Cox, Lieutenant-Colonel R E Goodwin and Captain Needham of 101st Field Artillery.
