Description: Accompanied by his civilian detective bodyguard and Field Marshal Montgomery, the King arrives at the headquarters at Langenboom in a Humber Pullman staff car and is greeted by the 2nd Army commander, Lieutenant-General Dempsey. Dutch villagers greet the King and Montgomery as they walk through the grounds of the headquarters with a corps of pressmen and 'Redcaps' in attendance. Dempsey then introduces the King to members of his staff, which includes a liaison officer from the 82nd US Airborne Division and inspects troops serving with the headquarters' defence company.
