Medium shot along a line of Sopwith 1F.1 Camels of No 4 Australian Flying Corps Squadron - aircraft taxi out of the line ready to take off. II. High-angle medium shot as a Sopwith Baby float plane is manhandled from shallows onto a slip. When the Sopwith has been recovered a Short 184 seaplane enters the water down the same slip and taxies away across the harbour - anchored in the background are an Admiralty R Class destroyer (HMS Tempest ?), a Town Class cruiser, Abercrombie and M15 Class monitors and some paddle minesweepers - a small steam pinnace enters the screen at end of the sequence. Aerial view of smoke canisters burning around airfield (wind direction indicators ?). Quayside scene - men pile up bags of mail (?). Medium shots of dazzle-painted paddle steamer ferrying troops across the Channel. Low-angle medium shot as cameraship crosses bows of three US destroyers moored together in Queenstown. Tracking close-up port bow to stern past surrendered U-boats at Harwich - U.153 with UB.117, UB.114 and UB.112. Aerial view of destroyer HMS Unity (H.5A). Medium shot to port forebody of HMS Valhalla (G.45) - camera moves aft but drifts off-centre, losing the ship off the bottom of the screen. Medium shot to starboard afterbody of HMS Agincourt (screen right cuts forefunnel) as she steams across anchorage. Inboard close-up of torpedo tube turned over port beam of destroyer.
