Description: Additional coverage of the villagers of Beny-sur-Mer paying tribute to Allied troops killed in action, as part of their Bastille Day celebrations. The village of Beny-sur-Mer lies some two miles inland from 'Juno Beach' where the 3rd Canadian Division landed on D-Day. The procession of local people led by the village priest and the Mayor is seen arriving at the cemetery where men of the Regiment de la Chaudiere which captured Beny-sur-Mer on June 6th 1944 are buried along with the dead of other Canadian and British units. Civilians and troops pay their respects to the dead by placing bouquets of flowers on their graves.
