Description: Shermans belonging to the depleted Divisions move up to the 8th Corps Front; soft-skinned transport can be seen using a one-way track in the background. A 151st Field Regiment RA Sherman OP tank passes underneath the Colombelles-Falaise railway near Grentheville; visible in the background an M5 signals half-track from the same RA unit, a Bedford 15cwt truck from 159th Infantry Brigade's HQ and a Daimler Scout car belonging to the 1st Battalion Hereford Regiment. Sappers remove German-laid gelignite demolition charges from the railway bridge. The cameraman observes a large factory in Cormelles (?). Two 1st Herefords infantrymen survey the suburbs of Caen from their positions. Men from the same infantry unit find some cider casks in a deserted cottage's backyard.
