Summary: Captain Felipe was the pilot of an Argentine Fleet Air Arm A4 Skyhawk which attacked the British fleet during the landings at Port San Carlos. He tells of his bombing mission against HMS Ardent which successfully crippled the ship and caused her to be abandoned. He was subsequently shot down and spent four days crossing the Falkland Islands by night in a bid to escape capture. A farmer eventually handed him over to the Argentines and Captain Felipe expresses his sincere thanks.
