Description: In a field outside Gheel where the 15th (Scottish) Division's HQ is quartered, the 21st Army troop commander is seen decorating nine officers, including a padre, from various units in the division watched by, among others, Lieutenant-General Ritchie, GOC 12th Corps, and the divisional commander, Major- General Barber; note the presence of Sergeant Morris, an AFPU stills photographer. The eighteen recipients pose for a group photograph with Montgomery and Barber.
