Film Number:13K 352
Other titles:PRODUCTION MATERIAL FOR THE FALKLANDS WAR: THE UNTOLD STORY [Allocated Series Title]
Summary: Brigadier Destri was a senior ranking officer in the Argentine Air Force. He discusses how the British had the advantage of having the latest US technology, which he found disappointing given that the Argentine pilots frequently trained with their US counterparts. He was disillusioned with the USA who sided with Britain rather than support one of their neighbours in Latin America. He says the unexploded bombs which hit British ships could have changed the course of the war had they been armed properly.
