(20 May 1943) An American locomotive, 'Austerity' class 2-8-0 (No. 2054 “USA”), hauling goods wagons and then shunting at an unknown train yard. (30 sec) SH241
(21 May 1943) A section of pontoon bridge is towed out of the Eastleigh workshop doors on a flat railway wagon. (1 in 51 sec) SH242
(21 May 1943) Construction of a pontoon bridge at the Eastleigh Works. Pneumatic drills and machine tools are used by both male and female workers. Cuts to; carpentry work being undertaken on wooden boat hulls using hand tools, followed by shots of more advance stages of construction (25-ft Fast Motor Boats?). (5 min 42 sec) SH243
(25 May 1943) Construction of Landing Craft Personnel (LCP) engines. An engine being lowered below deck into an Assault Landing Craft (ALC). LCP and ALC being towed out of Eastleigh Works on flat railway wagons. The LCP (No. 130) is then shown being launched at Southampton Docks. Three LCPs (No. 129 & 130) are then towed out of harbour by a steam tugboat. (6 min) SH244
