Summary: Navy Instructional film in which the Leander Class frigate HMS Argonaut (F.56) replenishes at sea by heavy jackstay from the stores support ship RFA Tarbatness (A.345). Preparation is shown briefly before the receiving ship, HMS Argonaut makes her approach to RFA Tarbatness. Lines are passed and made secure between the two ships as they sail parallel to one another, stores are transferred and all lines released to complete the procedure. Safety and the problems of handling heavy stores on the deck of the receiving ship are discussed briefly. The Leander Class frigate HMS Danae (F.47) also appears, engaged in replenishment from RFA Tarbatness.
