Summary: Manufacturer's film advertising the advantages of various British Aircraft Corporation products.
Description: A Puma helicopter carries a Rapier surface to air missile launcher as an underslung load; the system is then used to shoot down a target aircraft. Swingfire demonstrates its capability, and the film shows the differences between the Jet Provost training aircraft and the Strikemaster combat aeroplane that was developed from it. A Strikemaster attacks ground targets and demonstrates its manoeuvrability, even when carrying weapons. The prototype Tornado, the Panavia 200, takes off and refuels in the air from a Victor tanker while the narrator describes its performance and characteristics. A Jaguar proves its ability to fly low and fast, operate from improvised runways such as strips of motorway, and the accuracy of its laser-guided weapons and Head-Up Display (HUD), dropping conventional and cluster bombs and firing rockets at parked vehicles.
