Summary: Docking of large caisson and the frigate HMS Brazen (F91) into Dock 9 (dry dock).
Description: Caisson is towed by the tug Mary into the (flooded) dock, where it is moored and secured in the middle of the dock by cables. Wooden props are lowered into the water, and divers inspect below the waterline (and assist in locating the props). Walkway between the dockside and the caisson is lowered into position by crane. In the main dock, the tugs Felicity and Forceful tow HMS Brazen; she is manoeuvred into the drydock behind the caisson and moored. The dock is then sealed and Brazen is secured into position using wooden props. After both caisson and ship are firmly secured, the water is drained out. Shots of the two vessels in the now-dry dock; personnel inspect the various props holding the vessels into position.
