Summary: Army film using dramatisations of actual events involving three Northern Irish soldiers serving in the British Army to illustrate the importance of proper security measures for servicemen in Northern Ireland. Each of the three soldiers has a very different attitude to personal security. One pays little or no attention to safety measures, following set routines and making himself overly conspicuous through his car and behaviour. The second is defiant, regarding security as a form of surrender to the terrorists. The third takes all possible precautions, including the pre-planning of his actions in the case of an attack. Each is the victim of an IRA attack, and the outcome in each case demonstrates the value of proper security procedures.
