Description: The film opens with a view the plotters sitting around a table, including Guy Fawkes. The men conceal barrels of gunpowder beneath a pile of coal and wood in a cellar under Houses of Parliament. A montage of shots of men whispering indicate that the details of the plot have reached the ears of the law and early on the morning of November 5th Guy Fawkes is caught and later sentenced to be hung, drawn and quartered. The commentary states in mock-Jacobean language "for in troublous times such as these, me think this crime most horrible, wantonly to destroy so much goodly fuel". The film ends with a caption superimposed over the pile of wood and coal "BE A GOOD GUY DON'T WASTE FUEL".
