Description: I. Observers man a range/speed/height predictor at an AA gun site at Colleville-sur-Orne crewed by gunners from 'C' troop in 103rd HAA Regiment RA's 323rd Battery. An Auster AOP aircraft flies overhead. The alarm bell is sounded as an enemy aircraft approaches. Gunners line up for lunch, each man receiving bully beef and a warmed up tin of vegetables (?). 3.7 inch HE shells are unloaded from an AEC Matador tractor. A 3.7 inch AA gun crew is seen ready to open fire. A detachment from 150th Field Regiment RA's 514th Battery is seen in action. Gunners unpack 25-pounder shells from their cardboard containers, attach fuses onto them and stack them ready for firing.
II. The camera surveys one of three concrete gun casements and construction gear for the construction of a fourth gun position abandoned by the Organisation Todt at a German battery position several hundred yards west of Colleville-sur-Orne. A Skoda 10cm field gun is found on the site. Signallers use the rear exit of the casement as a shelter; note the shell-holes in the reinforced concrete. A lance-corporal examines shells and magazines from a destroyed 2.0cm Flak piece lying at the bottom of a large (bomb ?) crater.
