Summary: Second World War British Minstry of Information newsreel trailer offering advice to the public about the best way to use their doctor's services in wartime.

The commentary ask the public to help. To save time and petrol telephone for a visit before 10am, so that the doctor can plan his rounds. Describe what is wrong so that the correct equipment can be bought (shot of medical equipment inside of the doctor's bag). Give clear directions so that the doctor can find your home. If you can visit the doctor "so much the better". The film concludes with a shot of a leaflet in the doctor's bag which sums up the advice given HELP YOUR DOCTOR. CALL HIM BEFORE 10AM. CALL HIM IN THE EARLY STAGES OF THE ILLNESS. VISIT HIM, RATHER THAN ASK HIM TO VISIT YOU and ends with the commentary "I wish you very good health".
