Summary: Demonstration of how a decontamination squad deals with a liquid-gas bomb fallen in a street.
Description: The team leader carries out a reconnaissance and marks out the area needing decontamination. The squad set to work from the up-wind side spreading dry bleach powder over the affected area, and painting bleach mixed with water on vertical surfaces. Where the contamination is heavy, the bleach and gas mixture catches fire and is allowed to burn. Rubble from the small bomb crater is shovelled off the street and bleached, and the crater filled with clean rubble. The squad carefully remove their protective clothing, applying anti-gas ointment to their hands after removing gloves.
