Summary: Staged rescue-after-nuclear-attack film.
Description: In the event of a nuclear attack both trained wardens and able bodied survivors will need to join rescue and firefighting teams with the aim of clearing all easily accessible casualties before the arrival of fallout. In this film the senior warden monitors the radiation level carefully and gives the order to clear out when the level reaches a certain point. When the radiation has dropped to safer levels, wardens and rescue party leaders set priorities before setting out to clear the first area. Various rescues are shown - a man trapped under a collapsed floor, people trapped in a basement shelter etc. A survivor is reunited with his wife and children after they are located in the basement of a shop.
