Description: a. Shooting incident at Brandenburg Gate following the September 9th Rally: crowds near the Gate, break into running; youth on top of Gate tugging at Russian flag; flag comes down, excited crowd applauds; a young man, his jacket stained with blood (?) led away by 2 others: the flag thrown down (used in WIF 404) b. USAF airlift personnel and airfield at night; incoming crews report to control tower (at Tempelhof?), make reports; close ups of pilots etc relaxing (used in WIF 405). c. Queue of civilians waiting outside building; uniformed personnel (one apparently naval) stamp and sign forms at open air desk (close ups of forms, "Interzonal Travel Permit") and hand them over; relief/jubilation of recipients. Farewell scenes, as people board buses/lorries. d. Lewis Douglas, US Ambassador to London, visits Berlin; met at airport by General Clay and others (used in WIF 405).
