Summary: Part two of a film covering USAAF Marauder attacks on Occupied Europe.
Description: Commentary states that between 16 July and 1 November Marauder bombers have hit eighty-eight German targets and film covers another such raid. US personnel in an operations room at an airbase in Britain mark up incoming details on a mission report board before Marauders take off on another daylight raid. A long sequence shows these medium bombers releasing their bombs over rural areas in Occupied Europe, flying in formation and passing through a heavy barrage of flak as they return over the coast. Targets include ammunition dumps hidden in woods. Commentary explains that Marauders are permanently engaged in "softening up the Hun for our heavies" (Liberators and Flying Fortresses) and adds that combat crews have learned in battle what they will have to know when the ground invasion comes.
