Description: (Reel 1) Several shots repeated of a Spitfire with Invasion stripes landing on the rough airstrip. View of tent pitched at edge of field beneath trees. Airman with Australian shoulder flash. Spitfires take off. Barrage balloons high in sky. Locals come to look at the camp. Sign marked "Entree interdite aux civils". Another view of tent - airmen cleaning boots, washing themselves and cleaning pistol. (Reel 2) "RAAF Spits" written on leader. Ground crews service a Spitfire. Airmen are given haircuts by their comrades. Airmen stand near an abandoned blockhouse and lean on the gun. Several stand in a farmyard trying to converse, with the aid of a dictionary, to a peasant woman. A gendarme arrives and joins in. Airmen pump up water and carry away a couple of milk/water churns, waving goodbye. "The End."
