Summary:I. "Cologne a dying city." RAF Lancasters and Halifaxes bomb Cologne (city is covered by cloud but Rhine is visible) which is described as a bottleneck jammed with supplies. An aerial view of Aachen which shows the cathedral and a church still standing, as well as coverage of a daylight raid on a bridge spanning the Maas at Roermond, suggest the accuracy and effectiveness of the bomber raids.
