III. "Commandos of the Air." British Army has formed its own parachute corps from volunteers. Item includes interview with American inventor of the Army parachute (L E Irvin) who outlines the training of parachutists over film of soldiers doing PT, signing of the Guardbook by paratroopers, practising jumping from barrage balloons 500 ft. up and finally dropping from Whitleys in a mass jump together with equipment. This modern development in warfare "makes nonsense of the Maginot Line and English Channel," as the German attack on Rotterdam proved.
