Summary: The sequel to an unsuccessful Luftwaffe air raid on the bridges over the Waal at Nijmegen.
Description: Two British army fire-fighting teams are seen hosing fires in the upper storeys of a row of 'blitzed' shops in the city. The cameraman examines the vehicle registration number and the Army Fire Service inscription on the cab door of a Bedford QL fire tender, and focuses on the firemen (seen here assisted by a PAN Dutch Resistance volunteer) aiming jets of water onto the top floor of the gutted premises of a Gentlemen and Ladies' Clothes Repairer ('The premier repairers in Nijmegen'). The two teams are seen in action, watched by one of their officers and their section leader(?).
