Summary: Army instructional film. The film looks at the seven regiments of the Household Division being the Life Guards, the Blues and Royals (the Household Cavalry), the Grenadier Guards, the Coldstream Guards, the Scots Guards, the Irish Guards and the Welsh Guards (the Foot Guards). New recruits are knocked into shape. We are shown the range of activities that the Guards carry out from the military (including the Household Cavalry using tanks and armoured cars) to the ceremonial, including United Nations duties, the band, parachuting and recreational activities such as climbing and wind surfing.
